Most clients enjoy smooth edges for three to six weeks depending on hair growth rate. Regular waxing can extend time between appointments as hair becomes finer; we recommend scheduling every 4–6 weeks for consistent maintenance.

Some mild stinging is normal, but discomfort is brief. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine and alcohol before your appointment, exfoliate gently in the days prior, and communicate with your therapist about pain tolerance and comfort.

Trim hair to a quarter-inch if needed, arrive with clean, dry skin, avoid heavy lotions or oils, and disclose medications or skin treatments. Healthy skin and the right hair length ensure the most comfortable, effective waxing experience.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, vigorous exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable, loose clothing and apply a soothing, fragrance-free lotion or aloe vera. Start gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Regular waxing reduces ingrown hairs by removing hair from the root and encouraging finer regrowth. Combine with proper exfoliation, moisturizing, and professional aftercare to minimize irritation. Persistent ingrowns may require targeted treatments or adjustments to your routine.

Most clients book every four to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth and desired maintenance. Our therapists will assess your hair pattern and suggest a personalized schedule to keep edges neat and regrowth manageable.
